Meet Josh Lim

Joshua Lim is a senior studying Physics in the Grainger College of Engineering, and is also a student representative for this year’s Resilience SWATeam.

Lim originally started pursuing his sustainability interest by enrolling in the Sustainability Energy and Environment Fellows Program (SEE FP), but he wanted to further this interest by helping the community.

“I want to strengthen our community and incorporate sustainability throughout the school. The Resilience SWATeam would like to create a sustainable surrounding on campus so that students are aware of their actions and are active towards fighting climate change,” Lim said.

He wants to incorporate the sense of belonging he has always felt on campus into the community — making sure the community is coming together to be more sustainable.

“Creating a community that have similar goals and aspirations really strengthens the bonds and I want to help incorporate this into my school,” he said.

When not studying and participating in the Resilience Working Advisory Team, Lim likes playing soccer, discovering new music, trying new food, and weightlifting at the ARC.
