GETTING STARTED

As the effects of climate change accelerate and impact almost every industry and sector, literacy in sustainability and climate resilience are increasingly vital to today’s students. This portal exists to assist faculty and instructors in integrating sustainability deeper into their courses and teaching, regardless of field or subject.

NEED A GUEST SPEAKER?

iSEE staff members are able to help you find a guest speaker for your class. Please complete our contact form (linked below) and include a brief explanation of what you’d like someone to speak about, and we’ll do our best to match you with a staff or faculty member on campus who meets your needs.

WANT TO CONNECT WITH OTHER INSTRUCTORS?

The Sustainability Educators Network is an initiative spearheaded by iSEE to connect instructors interested in or currently teaching sustainability in their courses – regardless of discipline – with each other. In addition to connecting directly with your peers, joining the Sustainability Educators Network also means you’ll get access to exclusive events and regular updates on new resources we’ve collected for teaching sustainability.

LOOKING FOR CLASSROOM RESOURCES?

The best place to start is our listing of Educational Materials. Our staff has curated a list of resources from our campus and beyond to help you integrate sustainability into your curriculum. This page will be constantly updated with new information, and we welcome your input in making it more useful to everyone.

If you’re looking for specific information about current and historical sustainability efforts on campus (like the Solar Farm or our current recycling efforts), the iCAP Portal has it all!
