The Institute for Sustainability, Energy, and Environment (iSEE) is inviting applications for two new academic professional positions (application deadline for both is Dec. 16):
Sustainability Programs Coordinator
This person will identify desirable sustainability initiatives and assess their cost effectiveness, technical feasibility and acceptance by the University community — then develop those ideas into programs that promote sustainability efforts through the iSEE office at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Communications Specialist
The person will provide the overall communications strategy for the Center for Air, Climate, Health, and Energy (CACHE) — a newly formed organization, and provide support for iSEE communications activities. Job tasks include content creation for print and online publication (this includes articles on scientific research and researchers, coverage of events, seminars, and symposia, interviews with faculty, affiliates, and students of all levels), public engagement through social media, workshop and special event support, and production of marketing materials.
