The Champaign County Master Gardeners welcome Eliana Brown and Katy Kraszewska as they present Water & Home Landscape Ecology Aesthetics. Eliana will describe the importance of water conservation. Katy will show us how we can implement it in our home gardens, marrying ecology with aesthetics.
Eliana is the stormwater specialist with the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant and the Illinois Water Resources Center. She is an expert in regulatory aspects of stormwater programs and green infrastructure. Katy is a landscape designer and a 2016-17 Designer-in-Residence in the Dept. of Landscape Architecture. Her research explores innovative, low impact development practices and policy as a means toward sustainable stormwater management.
The program is Tuesday, March 28 at 7 p.m. and is being held at the Champaign County Extension office: 801 N. Country Fair Drive, Champaign. This program is free and open to the public.
