In celebration of the 2022 Master Naturalist Volunteer Graduation, Illinois Extension is hosting an outdoor volunteer fair to mix and mingle with the new Master Naturalists and all their program partners! This event is for anyone who wants to learn more about volunteering for our environment locally.

It will be held on August 18 from 6-7 pm near the organic gardens at Meadowbrook just off Race St in Urbana. You will be able to talk to representatives from Champaign County Forest Preserve DistrictChampaign Park District Natural AreasUrbana Park DistrictVermilion County Conservation DistrictGrand Prairie FriendsLand Conservation FoundationUpper Sangamon River Conservancythe Idea StoreAudubon SocietyAllerton Allies, and more. There will also be representatives talking about Extension programs, like Master NaturalistMaster Gardener, and Money Mentors. Everyone will be spread out from the pavilion to the herb garden for a casual atmosphere to ask questions and sign up to volunteer with local organizations.
