Join Students for Environmental Concerns on Friday, December 6th for our second Climate Strike of the school year! Mobilize with us as we overtake the Main Quad, and strike against our University’s investment in coal and other dirty fossil fuels. Show UIUC that we do not condone their participation in climate destruction!

We will strike from 11:30AM to 2:00PM at the South entrance of the Illini Union. Those willing can participate in die-ins on the quad during class passing periods. At 2:00 PM, we will collectively march to the Swanlund Administration Building for a rally!

Bring signs and means of making yourself heard (ie drums, horns, your voice!) Remember, we’re striking in December, so make sure to dress WARM! Also, try to wear orange, as it is the national color of fossil fuel divestment!
