Event Details

Held each spring semester, this symposium gives graduate students in the Environmental Engineering and Science (EES) program an opportunity to present their current research to the UIUC community. This year’s theme is The Environmental Challenges of Tomorrow.

This year, the EES program is delighted to host Dr. Charles N. Haas as the keynote speaker. Dr. Haas is the Department Head and LD Betz Professor of Environmental Engineering at the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering at Drexel University. Professor Haas received his BS and MS degrees from the Illinois Institute of Technology and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 1978.
