Event Details

This summer, we’re exploring the natural world with three month-long series of programs on precious metals (June), planets and stars (July), and plants (August). We’ll look at the ways different cultures have used natural resources, explained natural phenomena, and found inspiration in the world around them. Examine artifacts, join in songs and stories, and dig into sample materials. Experts from around town and campus will offer demonstrations and discussions. All programs are free and available on a drop-in schedule.

Each month has a distinct theme, with a series of programs for different ages and learning styles within those themes.

Second, fourth, and fifth Sundays feature docent-led activities such as mini-tours, scavenger hunts, and touch carts with hands-on artifacts.

Look for other special programs on these themes on the first and third Sundays of each month.
