05aug1:00 pm3:30 pmSpurlock Summer Sundays: PlantsTime Machine

Event Details

This summer, we’re exploring the natural world with three month-long series of programs on precious metals (June), planets and stars (July), and plants (August). We’ll look at the ways different cultures have used natural resources, explained natural phenomena, and found inspiration in the world around them.

Examine artifacts, join in songs and stories, and dig into sample materials. Experts from around town and campus will offer demonstrations and discussions.

All programs are free and available on a drop-in schedule.

The first Sunday of each month is a Time Machine that features multiple activities, presenters, and performers around the Museum. Look for different programs on every  Sunday of each month.
