Learn all about how to collect and store native plant seeds from UIUC botanists. Jack Zinnen, Bill Handel, and Sara Johnson from the INHS will be on hand discussing how to collect, clean, and store native plant seed for growing your own seed and for use in restoration and planting projects. A introduction will be followed by a hands-on step-by-step walk through of the process.
This is a great workshop for those interested in habitat restoration, managing natural areas, and growing native plants from seed! Tell your friends! Registration is FREE but limited.
