Join University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator, Candice Hart, to learn the concepts and construction techniques of a successful rain garden. Rain gardens allow water to drain back into the ground, and with native perennial plants, it can add an aesthetically pleasing landscape to your yard. This hands-on program will be will also include a walk through the rain garden demonstration plot at Allerton to see how it all works!
