Giuseppe Scionti is the Founder and CEO at Novameat and a former Professor in Bioengineering. He was featured on international media outlets as the inventor of the world’s first 3D printed plant-based meat and was invited speaker at TEDx (3x), SingularityU, Eton College, European Parliament, and United Nations conferences. In 2019, Scionti was named one of the “Nine Innovators to Watch” by the Smithsonian Magazine, and his invention was selected by Newsweek International as one of the Moonshots of the year. In 2020, the Guardian named Novameat’s Steak 2.0 as the “most realistic plant-based steak” globally. In 2021, Novameat started collaborating with “Disfrutar”, one of the top 10 Restaurants in the world, and released the world’s largest cultivated whole cut analogue.
