The Illinois Climate Action Plan is the University of Illinois’ strategic sustainability plan for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The goal is to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions is also supported by the Illinois Geothermal Coalition, a group of corporations, non-profits, geothermal professionals, and researchers seeking to establish Illinois as a leader in geothermal energy.

A free online webinar by the University of Illinois Extension will highlight ten existing Illinois campus geothermal projects. Register for the  Aug. 10 webinar.
