Want to know more about GMOs? How do genetically modified organisms impact food insecurity? How about the global food supply? Brenda Anne Wilson will answer these questions and more.

Dr. Wilson is professor of microbiology in the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology, the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology, and theBeckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Wilson’s research focuses on mechanisms of infectious disease and host-microbe interactions.
