Sustainability at the University of Illinois

The University administration has set challenging goals for energy use, local foods purchasing, recycling and more.  Fortunately, we have a plan, the Illinois Climate Action Plan, that will enable us to achieve those goals.

Sustainability principles and practices are embraced by many at Illinois.  People from all over campus— north of Green and south of Green—are taking action to make our campus more sustainable.  Our students may be the most active and vocal, but faculty and staff are also engaged in the pursuit.

Explore the ways that your colleagues are making a difference.  You, too, can take action!
